History
A brief history of the David Broadway Salon and Day Spa:
- 1968 David Broadway Salon is conceived
- 1976 David Broadway wins second place at the North American Hair Awards
- 1977 David Broadway wins top prize (“Oscar D’Elegance”) in Brussels at the World Hairdressing Championships
- 1984 First incarnation of David Broadway salon opens (5,000 square feet)
- 1986 David Broadway Salon begins offering spa services
- 1994 David Broadway team takes first prize, ‘Hair Color Makeover’ category, North American Hair Awards
- 2000 The salon expands to 16,000 square feet
- 2005 DB team named ‘The Next Generation’ at New York Intercoiffure
- 2005 Backstage at David Broadway opens
